The Rev. Maurice (Marc) L Strong III
Assisting Priest

Marc was ordained a deacon in the Diocese of Arizona in June 1992 and priest in the diocese of Chicago in December 1992 after receiving his Masters of Divinity from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary. Marc is married to Kim and they have two children, Maurice and Amy, both attending college. Marc's ministry focus is bringing the church alive for children and making them feel welcome at St. Lawrence. Marc has been the assistant priest at St. Lawrence for 6 years. Marc enjoys studying theological and liturgical movements from the origins of Christianity through the fourth century as they shaped the church, its practices and ceremonies. When not at St. Lawrence Marc is Senior Advisory Engineer working as an electrical engineer designing military electronics. In his spare time Marc enjoys playing softball and skeet.
