Book Group
All are welcome! Join us for one title or year-round at St Lawrence on the second Monday of the month at 7:00 pm.
Our book group is supported by the Cook Memorial Public Library District (CMPLD). Most titles are available through the library. If you would like to receive library copies of the books below, please contact CMPLD to have your name added to our book group list.

Seeking Sophia
Seeking Sophia is a small group for women dedicated to exploring spirituality from a feminine perspective. Through reading, discussion and sharing the joys and concerns of daily life confidentially at twice-monthly meetings, the members pursue their individual spiritual journeys in community. Seeking Sophia is open to all women in the parish, but it requires a commitment to full participation, regular attendance and respecting confidentiality. The group meets the first and third Saturday mornings of the month at 9AM in the Fireside Room.
Holy Crafters
The Holy Crafters is a small but mighty group here at St. Lawrence. We get together several times a year to enjoy crafting, sharing ideas, and preparing for our annual sale at Christmas time, both in the church and the community. We are open to anyone interested in supporting St. Lawrence through crafting, selling, or donating. Your level of involvement is up to you, and all are welcome to join us.
Young Episcopal Seniors
The Young Episcopal Seniors (YES) is a vibrant group enjoying monthly luncheons, special events, and great camaraderie. YES welcomes all ages. If you feel you belong, we are sure you do.
